BKN Cam Johnson Starts Recovering His Memory of 'Season's Most 34 Points'

The Brooklyn Nets won 116-115 against the Charlotte Hornets during the 2024-2025 NBA regular season at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on the 20th (Korea Standard Time).

On this day, Brooklyn had to face Charlotte, whose LaMelo Ball holds out without one option because Cam Thomas, who is the top scorer in the team with an average of 24.6 points this season, was absent due to back pain.

After a close game, Cam Johnson, who led the team's offense with 34 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, including 6 3-pointers, was the winner of the game. The 34 points was Johnson's highest score in a game this season and the second-highest score in a game in Johnson's career, following 38 points against New York on March 5, 2022, in a Phoenix uniform.

Johnson, who left Phoenix and entered Brooklyn through a trade during the 2022-2023 season, raised expectations with an average of 16.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 25 games and a 37.2% success rate for 3-pointers.

Brooklyn hoped that Johnson would be a one-two punch for the team along with Mikal Bridges, who moved from Phoenix last season. However, with an average of 13.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 58 games, Johnson left a disappointing performance to be called a key offensive option. 온라인바카라

Johnson's shoulders became heavy as Bridges moved to New York through a trade ahead of this season. Dennis Schroder and Thomas are the main backcourt, but Johnson's growth was desperate for Brooklyn.

At the right time, however, Johnson regained his memory and began to recover little by little. He has displayed career high-season pace with 18.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and a success rate of 39.3 percent in 15 games this season.

Brooklyn, which beat Charlotte to escape three consecutive losses thanks to Johnson's strong performance, is currently ranked ninth in the Eastern Conference with 6-9 losses.

However, considering that only four teams out of the 15 teams in the East have a winning rate of over 50%, including Cleveland and Boston, Orlando and New York, they can achieve better-than-expected results.

Brooklyn's next opponent, who is aiming to win consecutive games immediately after escaping the losing streak, is Philadelphia, which meets on the 23rd.
